Experience
I have gained a lot of experience as a teacher and tutor over the course of my academic career. I currently teach courses like AP US history, AP human geography, US government, and economics. I have a bachelor's degree in social science education. I enjoy tutoring because I can work with students individually and help them develop the same kind of love of learning that I have. I believe everyone can learn successfully, and it's up to me to figure out how to teach them in the most effective way. My goal as a tutor is to help students become confident in their abilities and reach their goals. I tutor mainly social sciences, but I can also assist students with test preparation for exams like the PSAT, ACT, and SAT. I also enjoy helping students develop compelling admissions essays and preparation for a college career. When I have free time, I like to read historical novels, garden, ride horseback, attend horse shows, and go to volleyball tournaments. I'm currently pursuing my masters degree in history, and I'm excited to share what I have learned with others.
